Industrial PLC SCADA

Our team excels in installing and diagnosing issues with PLC SCADA control systems. We design control wiring solutions to enhance functionality and can implement fault monitoring systems for critical systems, delivering text alarm notifications to site managers for swift response and damage prevention.

Industrial fault finding

We offer electric motor and pump fault finding. We can advise on VSD motor speed drive installation or faults. We can also provide preventative maintenance plans to reduce the risk of down time from unwanted breakdowns.

Karitane Staircase

Easther Cres Deck

University of Otago, Science III Building - Passive Optical LAN (PoL) Installation

The Communications team were engaged by the University of Otago to install a new PoL System in the Science III Building of the University of Otago. The existing copper Structured Cabling System was to become redundant (with only a minor section remaining) and be removed.

Salmond College Dining Hall – TV Wall Installation

Aotea installed a TV wall comprising four 55″ Samsung TVs mounted at an optimal height to ensure visibility throughout the large hall. The setup was integrated with a video matrix, connecting a Sky decoder, Freeview decoder, and an additional TV in the hall. HDMI outlets were also installed to facilitate laptop presentations.

OBHS Auditorium – LED Lighting and KNX Controls Upgrad

Otago Boys’ High School’s auditorium required a lighting upgrade to enhance its functionality and energy efficiency. The goal was to provide a modern, sustainable lighting solution while enabling precise and user-friendly control for various events.

Forsyth Barr Stadium Sports and Customer Experience Lighting Upgrade

Aotea Electric is proud to have successfully completed the lighting project at Forsyth Barr Stadium, enhancing the venue’s capabilities for both sporting events and community activities.

Oracle Residences

The electrical works at Oracle Residences included comprehensive installations and maintenance services a new development in the heart of Roslyn. Aotea Electric handled the complete installation of power, lighting, and lighting control systems throughout the development.
